Inter’s Austrian international wingback Valentino Lazaro spoke to Italian broadcaster InterTV following his first start for the Milanese side, in their 2-1 victory over Bologna earlier tonight.
“It wasn’t easy, but I’m happy for the win. We have to work hard for the next games. Today I felt very comfortable on the pitch and I’m happy to have helped the team.”
“With the coach we’re working hard to improve, and I have to continue like this day after day. I say thanks to Conte and the staff who always help me.”
“It was special for me to have my first start and show my style of play, and it’s clear that something has changed since Hertha Berlin. But I repeat, I must continue to follow the teachings of the staff to continue like this.”
The 23-year-old Austrian joined the Nerazzurri from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin this summer and today’s victory over the Rossoblu was his first start for the club. He has struggled for playing time so far this season but impressed in tonight’s game.
