Inter owned striker Eddie Salcedo seems set to start for Hellas Verona in this evening’s league clash against the Nerazzurri, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Verona coach Ivan Juric is ready to place his trust in the 18-year-old Italian Colombian by starting him for a third game in a row. He scored the first goal in Verona’s 2-1 victory over Brescia last weekend, impressing with his quick feet and accurate strike.

Furthermore, Juric has had to tinker with the squad due to a few injuries, the report continues. 19-year-old Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla will be unable to play due to a slight injury, a loss for the Veronese side considering his important defensive play for them in his ten appearances this season.

The 33-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder Miguel Veloso will also be unable to play, due to muscle problems.

Therefore, Juric will launch 22-year-old Italian Matteo Pessina in place of Veloso, with both Pawel Dawidowicz and Alan Empereur set to play in defence, the report adds.
