Andrea Pinamonti is currently facing an uncertain future according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pinamonti is set to return to Inter as per the gentleman’s agreement between Inter and Genoa but there is no certainty that Pinamonti will stay at when he returns.
Inter met with the young striker’s agent Mino Raiola yesterday but the situation was not fully clarified. Pinamonti will return to Inter in a €19 million deal but his €3 million a year wages will only put a further burden on Inter’s budget.
Pinamonti could well be utilised as Inter’s fourth choice striker but the report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Inter will first look to find a buyer for the Italian youth national team representative.
Last season at Genoa Pinamonti made 34 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored seven goals and provided a total of three assists for his teammates.
