In the interview with French L’Equipe, Belfodil was asked if he didn’t come to a big club like Inter too soon: “No, for me it was a dream that became a goal. The day I signed was emotional, but the next day it had passed and I was ready to start working immediately.”
Other clubs in Serie A have focused on big names for their attacks, Inter instead chose young talented players like himself to strengthen their attack: “But I’m happy to have this responsibility. Moreover, just because they have big names it’s not certain at all that it will be easier for them. Serie A is a difficult league and they will need to adapt and they will also have all eyes on them. But if you show that you have the qualities, the big clubs are chasing you even if you are young. Milan and Juventus asked for information about me in January.”
Belfodil then revealed his goals for his first year at Inter: “To play as much as possible, on the bench, you can’t do anything.
