Stefano Sensi hopes to be available for Inter’s match against Genoa on Sunday after ramping up the intensity of his training, according to an Italian broadcaster’s report this evening.
As per Sky Sport Italia, Sensi is in a better condition as he attempts to overcome the muscular fatigue which ruled him out of Sunday’s derby win over AC Milan.
The former Sassuolo midfielder carried out personalised work in training today in which he pushed himself more.
He also carried out some work with the rest of the team and things are looking positive for the Italian national team player.
In the next few days it will be understood whether Inter coach Antonio Conte will be able to count on Sensi against Genoa or not.
Sensi wants to return immediately to Conte’s disposal and is trying his best to do just that.
This season the 25-year-old has been limited to just 13 appearances in all competitions, only one of which has been a start.
