Inter defender Stefan De Vrij is on the verge of penning a new contract with the Nerazzurri, after agent Mino Raiola met with the club.

The Netherlands international has two years remaining on the deal he signed upon joining on a free transfer from Lazio in 2018 and has been in talks over an extension.

As reported by L’Interista, Raiola was in Milan to discuss a wide range of options with Inter and a new deal for De Vrij was high on the agenda.

The 29-year-old is close to a new contract that will see his wages rise to €4.8 million per season, after establishing himself as a first choice centre-back for coach Antonio Conte.

Elsewhere, Raiola discussed the future of striker Andrea Pinamonti, with the young forward looking to leave on loan for first team football.

Meanwhile, Everton striker Moise Kean, currently on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, is not thought to be a viable option.
