Man City striker Erling Haaland feels that Inter Milan will give his team a very difficult match in this evening’s Champions League final.
Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the Norwegian admitted he’s feeling the pressure.
City go into this evening’s final as the widespread favourites to win the Champions League.
Free-scoring striker Haaland is a big part of the reason why, although the Cityzens are formidable in every position.
However, Inter have shown all season that they can rise to the occasion against the toughest opponents. The likes of Napoli, Barcelona, Benfica, and AC Milan have all found this out the hard way.
From the perspective of City striker Haaland, there is no underestimating the Nerazzurri.
Whether or not City are favourites, the 22-year-old knows that they’ll have to work hard against this Inter team.
Moreover, Haaland admits that the nerves are setting in for him as much as for anyone else.

“I’d be lying if I said I don’t feel the pressure,” Haaland said. “It’s obvious that I am.”
“And then it’s true – they had won the Premier League four times in five years before I arrived, they’d won practically everything,” he added. “It’s clear that they already know how to do it.”
“The only thing missing is the Champions League, so it’s clear that I’m here to help win it,” Haaland added.
Of coming up against Inter, Haaland said that “I don’t like talking a lot about my opposition. I prefer to concentrate on myself and my team.”
“We’re up against a strong team who can cause problems for us,” he added. “We have to play at our best to win.”
And of Romelu Lukaku’s claim that Haaland can dominate football for the next decade, the Norwegian replied that “It’s great to hear that from him, I appreciated it. But I’m only thinking about the next match.”
