Inter Milan could sign Torino wingback Wilfried Singo as a replacement for Raoul Bellanova on their right flank.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, via Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who reports that the Nerazzurri are targeting the 22-year-old now that Bellanova has made the move to the Granata.

Singo is a player who’s been on Inter’s radar for some time now.

The Granata wingback has been a player they’ve identified as a prospective replacement for Denzel Dumfries for a couple transfer window. However, the Dutchman has always stayed put to date and so there was no need to pursue a replacement.

However, the departure of Raoul Bellanova changes things.

The 22-year-old will not be returning to Inter next season. Torino have snapped him up after his loan spell with the Nerazzurri expired, and they declined to exercise a purchase option.

However, Inter could bring a player right back from the Granata.

With the Piedmontese club having signed Bellanova, they could now be ready to listen to offers for Singo. The Italian Under-21 international could be the player to replace the Ivorian in Ivan Juric’s lineup.

Inter Milan Considering Torino Star Wilfried Singo As Raoul Bellanova Replacement

Inter are still keen on Singo, although they are not the only team in Serie A. Roma and AC Milan are also reportedly targeting the 22-year-old this summer.

However, Pedulla reports, the Nerazzurri are serious about trying to sign the Torino man.

Not only is Bellanova gone, but Matteo Darmian could play mostly as a defender next season.

With both Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio out the door, the 33-year-old’s versatility may well mean that this is his role as it was over the last few months of last season.

In that case, Inter would not want Dumfries to be the only right-wingback in the team. And Singo would be one of their main ideas to provide backup and competition to the Dutchman.
