Man United are pushing to get a deal done to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan by this weekend at the latest.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Red Devils want to have the Cameroonian in their squad for at least a few days before they set out for their preseason tour of the US.

Earlier today, Mediaset report that Onana’s representatives met with United.

Now the Red Devils will reportedly make their offer to Inter very soon.

For United’s part, they don’t want to hold up the deal any longer. The Premier League giants are certainly aiming for their next offer to be the one that Inter accept, unlocking a deal to bring Onana to Old Trafford.

Reportedly, United’s offer will creep up close to Inter’s €60 million valuation when all add-ons are included.

For United, time is of the essence. They want to give Onana plenty of time to settle in for the preseason period.

Man United Pushing To Sign Andre Onana From Inter Milan This Week

United have had a couple offers for Onana face rejection already. The Nerazzurri have turned down a bid that went as high as €50 million, with the inclusion of all add-ons.

According to the Gazzetta, however, United’s next offer will exceed €50 million with add-ons.

This should be high enough to allow Inter to reinvest the fee in a move for striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri can sign Anatoliy Trubin from Shakhtar Donetsk and Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich to replace Onana.

Inter’s demands are based around the cash that they need to go and sign their transfer targets. And United’s next offer will almost certainly be sufficient.

Therefore, United could complete Onana’s signing by this weekend. They would like to do so even earlier if they can.
