Inter Milan are loaning attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni out to Monza to get more regular senior level experience.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzuzrri have decided to prioritize giving the 18-year-old regular minutes at the top flight level rather than having him be part of their own first team setup.

Carboni is still very much a young talent rather than a fully-fledged senior player.

However, this has not meant that Inter have not been confident in showing their faith in the 18-year-old.

Reports suggest that the Nerazzurri want to hand Carboni a new deal soon.

Moreover, the teenager has already been given his chance at the senior level. Apart for starring for Inter’s Primavera team, last season he was also given his first opportunities to play with the senior team.

Carboni made just six appearances all season. Five of these came in Serie A.

However, this was a clear indication that Inter see Carboni as a serious prospect for their future.

Inter Milan Starlet Valentin Carboni Headed To Monza For Senior Experience

The Gazzetta confirm that Carboni is on the verge of joining Monza on loan. There, the teenager will join his brother Franco.

Carboni will join a Monza team who overachieved last season on their first ever in Serie A. The Lombard side achieved an impressive midtable finish under coach Raffaele Palladino.

Inter have evidently decided that this is the right environment to the young Albiceleste star.

Whilst last season, he had had a few opportunities with the senior team, they were nowhere near consistent enough to allow him to really grow and mature.

Therefore, whilst Inter had considered keeping him on as the fifth attacker in the squad, they will instead send him out.

Carboni should make the move to Monza on loan imminently.
