Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi still wants two more signings this summer, namely Benjamin Pavard and another forward.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri coach will insist on the signing of both the Bayern Munich defender and also a further attacking reinforcement before the summer transfer window closes.

It has been an eventful summer window for Inter, to put it mildly.

Plenty of players have departed, and a grand total of nine players have already arrived to replace them in the senior squad.

But the Nerazzurri’s business is still not finished.

Whilst another midfielder isn’t likely to join – Stefano Sensi will likely stay instead – there is still important business to do.

Simone Inzaghi Wants Inter Milan To Sign Benjamin Pavard + A Forward

One objective that the Nerazzurri have been putting off all summer is replacing defender Milan Skriniar.

Yann Bisseck has arrived, but the German is more of a signing for the future rather than a replacement for Skriniar.

Therefore, there is no doubt that Inter will work to make a defensive reinforcement before the window slams shut.

And according to the Corriere della Sera, Inzaghi wants that defender to be Pavard. The coach has made no effort to deny that the Nerazzurri are targeting the 2018 World Cup winner.

And the Corriere della Sera report that he is indeed making Pavard the main target, despite the other names linked.

Meanwhile, in attack Inter have lost Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku. They’ve also signed Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic to replace them.

Along with Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa, this means that the Nerazzurri have four senior forwards.

According to the Corriere della Sera, however, Inzaghi still wants another.

The newspaper reports that the coach wants his club to bring in another attacking player, even if Correa stays.
