In an interview with Inter Channel, the Portuguese defender Rolando talked about the match against Hellas Verona which will be played at the Stadio Bentegodi on Saturday night.
Do you feel like a jack of all trades?
“That was why Mazzarri wanted me. At a top club, you have to be able to play both to the right and to the left, but with the confidence of the coach and the club I find the strength to do what he asks of me and the team.”
“Saturday? We feel good and now the episodes have turned. We must consider the three points and then the match because we are in need of self-confidence. I scored my first goal in Serie A against Verona, I will always remember that, it was a beautiful goal ( laughs). Always count on me to defend, that’s my role and that’s what matters.”
Then he went on to talk about the opposing team and striker Luca Toni: “They have done very well, they were even ahead of us. The league is long and we are at different times during the year. They are a good team. Toni has scored a lot of goals, but there are also other important players. We’re focusing on ourselves. If I score? I’m great at dancing and that’s nothing I need to prepare, I would make something up.”
