Mehdi Taremi scored his first-ever goal for Inter Milan in Tuesday’s scintillating 4-0 Champions League win against Red Star Belgrade.

Simone Inzaghi’s side got off the mark in Europe’s elite club competition after a scoreless draw against Manchester City.

In addition to the 32-year-old, Hakan Calhanoglu, Marko Arnautovic, and Lautaro Martinez found the net.

Inter have four points after the opening two Champions League rounds and have yet to concede a goal.

After the game, Mehdi Taremi took to Instagram to celebrate his breakthrough.

He posted a photo, captioning: “Happy to score my first goal for my team and delighted to get “man of the match” tonight. Thank you so much to my teammates and all our wonderful fans for your continued support!
