Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries has joined the Netherlands national team for the upcoming UEFA Nations League games.

Fighting for a top spot in Group A3, Ronald Koeman’s team will lock horns with Hungary and Germany in October.

The beaten EURO 2024 semi-finalists shared the spoils with the Germans in a goal-glutted 2-2 draw last time out.

Denzel Dumfries was in the starting line-up. He’ll likely retain his place in Koeman’s best XI against Hungary.

The 28-year-old took to Instagram to express his enthusiasm for returning to the Dutch side, saying: “First Day.”
