Inter-Napoli is a match of many stories, with one of them being the friendship between Gonzalo Higuaín and Esteban Cambiasso. At the end of the game, in which the ex-Real Madrid striker was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher, Cambiasso made his way into the away team’s changing room to encourage him and compliment him on a fine performance. Napoli’s president president Aurelio De Laurentiis witnessed the scene and went on to praise El Cuchu on his personal Twitter account: “Compliments to Cambiasso for the nice gesture towards Higuaín in the changing rooms”, were the words of the Napoli top man.
