Attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni will join Genoa on loan from Inter Milan for next season.
This via FCInterNews. The Grifone will sign the 20-year-old on a dry loan with no purchase option, and will receive a bonus payment for playing time of up to €1 million.
At the moment, Valentin Carboni is a part of Inter’s senior squad.
The Argentine’s loan spell with Marseille last campaign ended prematurely. This following an ACL tear that he suffered during the autumn.
Carboni spent much of last season recovering from that injury.
And having fully healed from that devastating knee injury, Carboni was ready to travel to the United States for the Club World Cup this summer.
Carboni got his share of playing time for Inter Milan at the Club World Cup.
Most notably, the 20-year-old scored Inter’s stoppage time winner against Urawa Red Diamonds.
Valentin Carboni To Join Genoa On Loan From Inter

This summer, though, the priority has been to find Carboni a new club where he’d play regularly.
And it is Genoa who have stepped up to the fore to sign the 20-year-old.
Grifone coach Patrick Vieira is a big admirer of Carboni’s. He feels that the Argentine is the right player to inject some quality into the Ligurian team’s attack.
Therefore, Genoa have been pushing to sign Carboni on loan.
And now, the Ligurian club have reached an agreement with Inter on a deal.
Carboni will sign for Genoa on a season-long loan deal. It is just a dry loan with no purchase option, however.
Furthermore, Inter will pay Genoa a bonus based on the amount of playing time that Carboni receives. This could rise as high as €1 million.
So quick to make daft sales/loan deals…
same old coment after all these years
get some life buddy, youre patehic as f**k
So it’s gonna be same old players but older that can’t sustain a hole season + asslani.
Good luck, Valentin!
Does it also mean Ass-lani stay?
Personally, I thought he could be a good player for us this season, but if he gets first team football at Genoa, it could benefit both him and us in the future…. Good luck to him!
hope he’ll shine and his last season’s injury won’t haunt him
Hopefully Genoa play him and don’t put him on the bench, otherwise won’t see what he is capable of.
