Inter Milan have reportedly added out-of-favour Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa to their list of backup targets for Ademola Lookman.
This according to Gazzetta.it. They report that the 27-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s list along with Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku.
Inter Milan are still working to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
However, there is little certainty that the Nerazzurri will be able to make a deal for the Nigerian. The transfer saga has taken many bitter twists and turns, and blown up into a real summer soap opera.
Therefore, while Lookman is the only priority for now, Inter have some Plan B options in mind.

The Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that Inter are considering Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku as a backup target for Lookman.
But it is not just Nkunku. The Nerazzurri are also eyeing up another player currently on the fringes at a big Premier League team.
The Gazzetta report that Italian international forward Federico Chiesa is also on Inter’s list.
However, the Nerazzurri would only consider bringing the former Juventus and Fiorentina forward back to Serie A in the event that their pursuit of Lookman falls through completely.

Since he came from Fiorentina every season had injuries i think. I wouldn’t take him even as a backup, massive risk. From Italy i would take Lauriente (Sassuolo) instead of him, transfer would probably go up to 20 mil, the rest of good wingers would cost us arm and leg.
Finally. Something that makes sense. I don’t know why Chiesa wasn’t at the top of Marotta’s list.

I’m sorry but Chiesa won’t do good for us. I’ve seen him play at liverpool and has been performing horribly. Initially he had stamina issues but even when he recovered he was just not good enough to play. I do not like this idea as it seems like a cheap alternative tbh.
Chiesa will be a disaster for Inter….way too injury prone…I admit he’d bring dribbling and running at players to the squad but too much of a gamble for my liking.
