Inter Milan could reportedly be on the verge of missing out on the signature of Giovani Leoni, who wants to join Liverpool.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the teenage sensation has already agreed to continue his career at Anfield.
Giovanni Leoni has been on Inter’s shortlist since the beginning of the summer.
However, after splashing out north of €70 million, they’ve had to put their interest in the 18-year-old on hold.
Now, they could pay the price.

Per the report, Leoni has accepted Liverpool’s contract proposal ‘without hesitation.’
Meanwhile, the Reds have yet to open talks with Parma, who will try to maximize their profit from this sale.
Liverpool will reportedly have to offer at least €35 million to get the Crusaders’ go-ahead.
Furthermore, they may try to sweeten the deal by letting Leoni stay at Ennio Tardini next season on loan.
After failing to sign Koni De Winter, who’s on his way to joining AC Milan, Inter could shoot another blank in the transfer window.
IMO this is why Inzaghi left, Oaktree only want cheap mercato.
If things continue like this, Inter won’t win a single trophy this season. You were planning to sell Pavard and Bisseck, but before that happened, you lost the battle for Leoni and de Winter. …well,inter are really stuck,nobody want to buy our grandpas…that’s the fact,we have lots of defenders,though they’re oldies and some of the younger ones form are alarming…Leoni as far as am concerned have had one season of excellence with parma,a promising player{sure},but italian big clubs find the money too high for him,they are not ready to take the risk including{inter},too bad…Marotta should buy at least one defensive midfielder if they’re not buying any defender…as for oaktree,inter fan worldwide would seat at the edges of their various sits and see what plan they have for our darling club…

Serie A will start in next ten days, and our transfer market is getting stagnant. So, if Lookman transfer doesnt complete in this weekend, then its time to move on. We may end up to still see Asslani, Taremi, Frattesi, Acerbi, Palacios in the squad. Unless, there is a surprise in the last minute of transfer deadline.

Totally agree. I’d have rather taken De Winter and Leoni than Lookman. It all looked so promising, now we’ve practically wasted the transfer window.

Probably about right. We seem to always arrive late to most deals. Sadly can’t say I’m surprised at all, seems to be reoccurring theme since Moratti days.
Our window so far is about average, we still got gaps in CD and LWB even (Di Marco is liability in defence) and both defensive and attacking midfield and a real lack of pace everywhere still. Strikers are good and that’s about it. I think we were all probably expecting at least another defender, but all chips are on Lookman which is so infuriating when there are other gaps to fill.
