Serie A runners-up Inter Milan are reportedly firm on a €50 million ceiling in their pursuit of Ademola Lookman.
According to Corriere di Bergamo via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have contacted the player’s entourage to accelerate talks.
In contrast to yesterday’s report, La Dea have yet to name their price.
There was a genuine belief that they would sell Lookman for around €50 million.
However, after sanctioning Mateo Retegui’s transfer, they may increase their asking price for the Nigerian.
Inter Milan Reluctant to Offer More than €50m for Atalanta Star Ademola Lookman

Atalanta rejected Inter’s €45 million bid earlier in August. Furthermore, talks between the clubs have since fizzled.
Yet, the San Siro giants have not given up on their pursuit of the 27-year-old forward.
Indeed, Ademola Lookman has agreed on personal terms with the Nerazzurri, putting them in a decent bargaining position.
Despite that, Inter will not surpass the €50 million mark.
Given Atalanta’s attempt to drive a hard bargain, it would be unsurprising if Inter soon turn to other targets.
better stop now. we lost all other targets as well. next year we can get lookman. now the management need to prepare their best for panic buying in the last minutes and hopefully we won’t get taremi, zielinski, palacios and tajon 2.0. someone like arna is good; you have no high expectation for him, but still does his job beyond what people think
I don’t underestimate our squad strength. last year we went forward with so many injuries and inconsistencies yet we still ended up high even though we didn’t win a single trophy (against Napoli that only played in domestic and reached CL with deadwoods). I can’t wait to see chivu’s inter
Hello Lookman Ademola am Hakeem Salam a yoruba by tribe from Lagos state but based in Ghana I really love the style of aggressive attacks and bless with skills pace indeed u are amazing player to call insha Allah inter Milan will be ur next club very soon
There is no chance of management signing him for 50m whilst he is injured and has an ending contract. Better stick to your plan and let Atalanta cave in, as he is going to be a problem for them all year long.
Marotta may come up with a ‘now or never’ offer worth $50 million this week. If Perca$$i still refused it and then let him deal with angry Lookman..
Let’s move on. There is no way we pay 50mil for him. Lets not repeat our mistake of buying players with no sell on value for a very high price.
you people always talk about no resell value, what is wrong with you keeping your best player must you sell. no resell value my foot.
loomearn from at Madrid, Modric, benzene, ramos, marcelo etc even barca
