Inter Milan are eyeing up Udinese defender Oumar Solet and Sevilla’s Loic Bade as potential reinforcements at the back.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that a move for either would require a sale, likely of Benjamin Pavard.
Inter Milan are still thinking about signing a defender before the transfer window.
The Nerazzurri have missed out on one big target in the form of Koni De Winter. The Belgian has joined AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Parma’s Giovanni Leoni looks to be closing in on a move to Liverpool.
However, there are other options for Inter to consider.
And particularly if Inter were to sell Benjamin Pavard, they will certainly sign a replacement. The former Bayern Munich defender is a target for Galatasaray, and Inter could listen to €15-20 million offers.
Inter Eyeing Up Oumar Solet & Loic Bade
One defender who Inter have been targeting for some time is Udinese’s Oumar Solet.
The Frenchman had already convinced the Nerazzurri with his performances in his first few months in Serie A after joining Udinese last January.
However, the Gazzetta note, Solet is under investigation for sexual assault in Udine. Therefore, Inter would want to sign him on loan with a purchase option, pending the outcome of that case.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report, Sevilla defender Loic Bade is also a target for Inter.
The 25-year-old is under contract with Sevilla until the end of June 2029. Therefore, the Andalusian club would have plenty of leverage in negotiations.
The Gazzetta note that Sevilla have recently given Bayer Leverkusen an asking price of €30 million for Bade.
Last summer missed on Buongiorno or Calafiori. This summer on Leoni. Imagine if we had both Buongiorno and Leoni in our ranks.
