Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito has been one of the players to have really stood out in preseason in Serie A.

Today’s print edition of the Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, name the 20-year-old as one of the players who has really been a breath of fresh air.

Inter Milan have made Francesco Pio Esposito a part of their first team plans this season.

The teenage striker had spent the last two seasons on loan with Spezia. Last campaign, he scored nineteen goals for the Ligurian club.

Then, Pio Esposito also starred for Inter at the Club World Cup earlier this summer.

Pio Esposito has also gotten plenty of playing time in Inter’s preseason friendlies. Both as a starter and from the bench.

And as the Corriere della Sera note, the signs have been extremely positive from the Italian Under-21 international.

Pio Esposito has not looked raw, or only stood out for his physicality.

The 20-year-old’s holdup play and technical ability with his feet have also had plenty of polish. And he has had his timing down pat aerially.

Therefore, the Corriere della Sera predict that Pio Esposito could be one of the players to really break out next season in Serie A.
