Galatasaray are pushing to sign defender Benjamin Pavard from Inter Milan.
This according to French outlet Footmercato, via FCInterNews. They report that the Turkish champions are close to an agreement with Inter, but that Pavard himself is not yet convinced.
Inter Milan signed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich two years ago. And while he has made a big impact, there is a feeling that his form suffered a definite drop-off last season.
Furthermore, the Frenchman will turn thirty next campaign.
Therefore, there is a nagging sense that this may be the right time for Inter to cash in.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are reportedly eyeing up a deal to sign Pavard.
Galatasaray Pushing To Sign Inter Defender Benjamin Pavard

According to French outlet Footmercato, Galatasaray are still pushing to sign Pavard.
The outlet report that the Istanbul giants have been in contact with Inter. They are reportedly close to an agreement for the 29-year-old’s signature.
However, Footmercato report, Pavard himself is still not convince.
Therefore, Galatasaray will have work to do finding an agreement with the player before they can complete a deal for his signature.
The only way I’d ever consider selling Pavard is if his sale money unlocks a 2nd defender that we have lined up to come in that can be immediate starters. This 2nd defender would be on top of a starter CCB. It could be possible as sometimes transfers happen (like Diouf) out of nowhere, but it seems unlikely as we’re only being linked with Solet. But either way, we can’t go into this season with only Acerbi and De Vrij as CCB options.
Is there any player at Inter that Galatasaray didn’t push for? They don’t have single cent – just fuck off
Keep him Unless we have someone ready to sign as I find this deal to late in the transfer window, I just hope they’re not trying to lowball us in a last minute deal.
100% and only if that signing to replace Pavard is on top of another CCB signing
Can they just fuck off? They always play tricks and the deals fall off. We just can’t take them seriously
