Inter Milan could sign a striker this summer once they find a new club for out-of-favour striker Mehdi Taremi.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
So far this summer, two strikers have left Inter, and two have arrived to replace them.
Veterans Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa departed the Nerazzurri at the end of their contracts.
Meanwhile, Ange-Yoan Bonny came in from Parma. And just as notably, Inter also brought Francesco Pio Esposito into the first team fold.
However, Tuttosport note, Inter are still looking to offload Mehdi Taremi before the transfer window closes.
Inter Could Sign A Striker Once Mehdi Taremi Leaves
Taremi’s departure would mean that Inter would have just four attacking options.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri could decide to move for one more attacker to bolster the squad depth.
This certainly will not happen before Taremi leaves. Inter will not want to have six forwards in the squad if they can’t manage to find a new club for the Iranian.
However, if Inter can find a solution for Taremi, Tuttosport report that they could move.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri could seek out a last minute opportunity in the market.

It may be unpopular decision but if we can get Vlahovic for free next season, considering he would accept wage around 6mil/per year, it would be a steal to get a striker worth around 50 mil, who is secure to bring goals. Even when Juve was at it worst he had 20+ goals and assists. We can sell Thuram than for a good amount of money, because next season will be last chance to get 60-70 mil for him.

I would rather keep Taremi!! Last thing I would want would be Susan ‘My Mom Cuts My Hair’ Vlahovic at our club! He is a complete Donkey!! In at least 2 occasions last season he managed to tackle himself!! Unlike many on here, rivalries mean something to me- I nearly Vomitted when we signed that dirty Colombian!! As for Susan… NO, NO, NO!!!!
When we have a chance to get a player worth 50 mil for free (one who’s under 27 years) you go for it. Especially since we don’t have money to cash for one. Players with expiring contract to buy for free if possible: Mingueza for rb, Eric Garcia, Upamecano, Diogo Leite for cb, Hudson-Odoi for winger, Timber for cm, Enciso for am and Vlahovic for st.
And when you would rather leave Taremi who was abysmal, than a striker in his best years who can guarantee you 20 or more g+a, that says more about you who would rather stand on some baseless principle, then to be glad for stronger team
