Juventus will likely take on Inter Milan in Saturday’s Derby d’Italia without Fabio Miretti and Francisco Conceicao.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, both players are at risk of missing Inter’s visit to Turin.

While Miretti’s absence may not drastically alter Juventus’ midfield set-up, Igor Tudor has a decision to make in attack.

Indeed, Francisco Conceicao has been the Turin side’s driving force in the final third this season.

Despite failing to score, Conceicao’s creativity and ability to stretch defenses has been crucial for their attacking play.

Conceicao had to withdraw from Portugal’s national team early due to a muscle injury.

In addition to Saturday’s clash at the Allianz Stadium, he could miss Juventus’ Champions League opener.

Indeed, the diminutive forward may not be at Tudor’s disposal for Tuesday’s match against Borussia Dortmund.

With Conceicao out, Teun Koopmeiners could return to the starting line-up this weekend.

As for Miretti, he spent the second half of last season at Genoa and fared reasonably well.

However, he remains low in the pecking order at the Allianz.
