Piero Ausilio has decided to remain loyal to Inter Milan despite receiving a lucrative contract proposal from Al-Hilal.

According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the 53-year-old remains committed to the Nerazzurri project.

Shortly after signing Simone Inzaghi, Al-Hilal set their sights on the Inter Milan sporting director.

Furthermore, they were ready to offer him a substantial pay raise to cut ties with the Italian club and move to the dezert.

However, Al-Hilal’s approach fell on Ausilio’s deaf ears.

Unfazed by Al-Hilal’s €5 million contract offer, Piero Ausilio reaffirmed his commitment to Inter.

Indeed, the senior executive is prioritizing loyalty and long-term project continuity over immediate financial gain.

Therefore, he has refused to follow in the footsteps of Inzaghi, who left San Siro in a hurry.

Meanwhile, Ausilio’s assistant, Dario Baccin, has no intention of betraying his associate.

As a result, he will also remain in Milan and continue his work on developing the U23 team.

Despite wanting to sign both, Al-Hilal will now have to look elsewhere to bolster their technical staff.
