Struggling Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly tried to sign former Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Red Devils contacted the 49-year-old coach after Ruben Amorim’s dismissal.
Man Utd sacked the Portuguese boss in the wake of a disappointing 1-1 away draw to Leeds United.
Therefore, they’re now on the lookout for a new manager to fill the vacancy.
Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi has emerged as a potential candidate to take the hot seat at Old Trafford.
Ex Inter Milan Boss Simone Inzaghi Turns Down Manchester United

Inzaghi, who swapped Inter for Al-Hilal in July, is one of the highest-paid managers in world football.
Indeed, he has signed a two-year contract in Riyadh worth around €50 million.
On the other hand, the Red Devils were ready to offer him £15 million net per season to lure him away from the Middle East.
However, Inzaghi has decided not to accept Man Utd’s proposal, preferring to stay at Al-Hilal.
Inzaghi’s men are leading the way in the Saudi Pro League and sit at the top of their AFC Champions League group.
