Inter Milan are on course to win their 21st title in Serie A, sitting ten points clear of nearest competitors AC Milan.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the financial rewards for winning the Scudetto and potentially the Coppa Italia would be substantial.
Cristian Chivu faltered in his first European season in charge of the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt secured a stunning 5-2 aggregate win over the runaway Serie A leaders in the playoff round.
Therefore, Inter must now focus on completing their first domestic double since 2010.
Inter Milan to Make Huge Money from Winning Serie A & Coppa Italia

It feels like the 21st Scudetto is already a done deal. Barring some highly unexpected developments down the final stretch, Inter should claim the league crown.
Furthermore, winning the Scudetto would earn the San Siro giants roughly €16 million.
Meanwhile, Chivu’s men will take on Cesc Fabregas’ Como in an exciting two-legged Coppa Italia semi-final tie, seeking a landmark 10th title.
Lifting the cup trophy would bring in an additional €7 million in prize money.
Therefore, completing the domestic double would see Inter pocket around €23 million in total.
well, to better understand the knock out of the CL, the most immediate consequence is the budget deficit, which is serious: €20 million is missing, as reaching the Round of 16 was the minimum target that was calculated into the budget. Compared to last season, the gap has become huge: €65 million less in bonuses alone (€71 million versus €136 million), plus lost matchday revenues (€10 million from the quarter-final against Bayern and nearly €15 million from the semi-final against Barcelona). Those figures, as recently as last June, allowed us to close a financial year in the black for the first time in 15 years. I don’t know how the situation will look like without this CL money, but we can forget both large transfers (they were none even when we reached the CL finals, to be honest) and a better coach.
Assuming your figures are correct then you are 100% correct. YOU understand!! 🙂
I stated on a forum after the CL match that fiscally the loss was ruinous for the club and it will take prudent sells/buys to rebuild and it will take more than a season to do so.
Ever notice how more than 1/3 of the articles are about business……you know why? Because football is a business!!!!! It is not some game being played on your laptop
Wait, winning the Scudetto only gets you 16mil? Going forward, need to concentrate solely on Champions League to fund future transfers. Go where the money is.
