kovacic   Mateo Kovacic will be one of the stars in the coming World Cup. The Inter midfielder has released an interview in which he discusses things outside the football pitch.

“My parents are my biggest supporters,” said the Croatian starlet. “They’ve always been. They and the whole family are always with me, when things go well and when things go bad. It doesn’t matter how I play, they are always there.”

Besides his parents Kovacic also has the support of his girlfriend Izabela who he got to know through church.”I appreciate honesty, simpleness, decency. Of course physical appearance is also important, but I don’t put too much weight on that, for me that isn’t the most important thing in a girl. What matters to me is that she is a good person, nice and well mannered.”

But there is one topic on which Kovacic won’t budge. Should you ask him to cook, the answer is unconditional; “I don’t cook and I never will. It isn’t my job, it is the woman’s. My job is to bring money home and make life easier for my family.” As noted, for Kovacic football is a job, but not the most important thing.

“It is true, football is not the most important thing in my life.It is  more important for me to be a good and honest man and to have a family of my own.”
