During the last few weeks Inter have been linked to Abel Hernandez, but now the possibility of the Uruguayan leaving Palermo seems small. Here is what Palermo’s president Maurizio Zamparini told the Sicilian newspaper il Giornale di Sicilia: “Hernandez stays with us and that is what is most important, he could only leave in case of a really unrefusable offer. I see the risks of that happening as rather small, because the offer would have to be presented within a few days as Palermo would then need time to localise a quality striker to replace him. However I am convinced that staying with us is the best choice for Abel, because I believe that after a year in Serie B without any major injuries it could be time for the player to really let his talent explode”.
