Mario Mandzukic who has been a hot target for the Nerazzuri has now officially signed for Spanish champions Atletico Madrid. Earlier today Bayern München went out on their officiall website confirming that Atletico has now acquired the Croatian striker.
Here’s the clubs officiall statement: “The deal taking Mario Mandzukic (28) from FC Bayern to Atletico Madrid has been concluded. The Croatia striker joins the Spanish champions with immediate effect after completing a medical and inking his new contract. Bayern and Atletico have also signed off on the transfer formalities.
“We wish to thank Mario Mandzukic for two fantastic seasons here in Munich,” commented FC Bayern deputy chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen. “In Mario’s time with us the club won a total of seven trophies and his goals were often decisive. We wish him all the very best both professionally and personally at his new club.”

actually scratch that i’d rather take Osvaldo. Not b’c Osvaldo is better then Mandzukic, no he is not, but b’c Icardi needs to play more and if Mandzukic comes Icardi will only play in the Tim Cup or when Mandzukic is hurt.
Its ok we need to give maximum playing time to Icardi and play as an alternate to him not someone who is necessarily better right now. I would take Jovetic over him.
