If we cant sell guarin we dont need medel. We need a striker so badly, we can invest our money to one top striker rather than buy a midfielder too.
We need Medel no matter how you turn it. Medel is an alternative for M’Vila, Guarin is an alternative for Hernanes. Medel can also play in defense in case of an injury crisis like that of 2 years ago when Stramaccioni was in charge.
If he arrives for 7-8 million it’s not a tragic price, and I think he could do well.

This is what I have in mind, what it would look like (I’ve put Ranocchia as a starter because he’s getting the armband and he’s bound to play, though I think JJ deserves it more). I consider this decent, fitting for a CL spot in a league like the Serie A this season.
