FC Internazionale have announced the appointment of Dan Chard as the club’s new Director of Global Partnerships. Chard, who is an expert in his field having run high-profile sponsorship and marketing campaigns for the likes of Barclaycard, Coca Cola, Red Bull, Heineken, Sony PlayStation, LG Electronics, Adidas and Bank of America, will be in charge of the club’s global sponsorship deals. He is tasked with making the club more efficient in developing and spreading the Inter brand both at home and abroad.
He has been working in sponsorship and brand partnerships for over 17 years. Having worked across fashion, sport, music and entertainment, he brings vast knowledge and a big black book of global brand contacts.
“Dan offers impeccable management credentials,” said FC Internazionale CEO Michael Bolingbroke in a statement. “His experience will greatly enhance our commercial team. We are sure that, with his help, Inter will become a highly recognisable brand around the world – something Chard has already demonstrated he’s capable of achieving in his previous positions.”
“I am proud to take this next step on my professional career,” said Chard. “Being a part of FC Internazionale fills me with great pride and I view it as an hugely exciting opportunity. I am sure there is everything in place here for me to put my experience to good use. I will look forward to bringing new, dynamic, consumer engaging brand partnerships that help deliver global coverage for our future partners and FC Internazionale.”
Chard is a huge sports fan, particularly football. He has worked on marketing campaigns for events including the UEFA Champions League. He was Director, Partnerships Sales for AEG, where he was responsible for leading and securing commercial sponsorship and brand partnerships of AEG’s music and entertainment assets. Before this Chard ran his own sports marketing agencies. He has lived mostly in the UK and worked in the U.S., Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Greece and Turkey and is married with two children.

Great. new era grande inter. good luck, dan and all management. forza inter 1908.
Strong management
i hope this management will be better
Nice Mr Thohir…it is great news…
Why thohir takes not italians in his management!!!
because maybe most of Italian are old fashioned guys. that’s why Serie A can’t compete with other league anymore
He is taking in staff with experience from working for and with other big corporations & teams, in which they succeeded in getting results. If that was due to competence or easy job due to the well known companies and teams they once represented, time will tell.
Me personally thinks this really shows that Tohir and Inter board is serious with giving the team better possibilities on the field in the future. That inter.it and media (incl. sempreinter and their partner fcinternews) is publishing news like this for changes within the office building, indicates that they have some clear ideas in how they hope to run this club and a well thought out plan for the next couple of years.
Only Milan and Juve fans asked something like that LOL
Strong management in the making, not complete yet but i think Thohir slowly act to cover our weakest side.
Wow, this guy has a great CV.
wow, there’ve been more staff arrivals than player arrivals this summer. hope this translates into something tangible to fans
wow a pro again !
Shiiiiit är han gift med två barn! Galet
hahahahaha
