The future of Fredy Guarin is about to be decided. The 28-year old Colombian midfielder, with Inter since 2012, is at a crossroads: he wants to leave Inter and is waiting for the outcome of this afternoon’s meeting being held right now in Milan, as reported in the online version of La Gazzetta dello Sport, beween the Nerazzurri management, the one of Zenit St. Petersburg and the agent of the South American, Marcelo Ferreyra. We still have to find out the appeal that the Russian league may have to Guaro, which at the moment seems rather tepid although he can reunite with his former coach at Porto André Villas-Boas.
Sky Sport adds that Inter have set the necessary condition to give the green light to the departure of Colombian, who could go away from Milan only in case of the arrival of an offer equal to or exceeding 16 million euro. This is because Inter don’t have the absolute necessity to sell and still want to monetize in an important way by the departure of a player with the caliber of Guaro.

Sell him already his stay means trouble in the dressing room if is not offered playing time he will start the big mouth running again
Just so you know that AC Merda just released Balloteli for 16 Million Euro to Liverpool. Now is Guarin in the same level with Blaotelli? Not that I am a fan of the ‘one cell brain” (as Mou said) player, but definitely we must be realistic if we want to get rid of this overrated player. It may be good though if we are just playing high ball to Zenit.
I think Balotelli went for 16 million Pounds which is a little more, although still not that much!
although it was in pounds, they bought balotelli from city for a little bit more than that.
balotelli had good statistic, 54 matches with 30 goals and 12 assists. and yet they toke loss more than 1 millions.
while Guarin, we bought him for around 12-13 millions euro. and we asked for 16-18 millions for him now. it would be difficult to find buyer if we’re looking for profit from a player with a so-so performances.
Well said. You cannot take a profit from such a pain-in-the-ass player. I would be grateful if we could get 13 Million Euro for him. Other than the fresh money, it also make room for our wage budget. Not to mention that we can buy “star player” in January. Note that “star player” for Inter nowadays is in the range of cerci or chicharito
Not so sure if Fredy really wants to leave? He might consider a move to Juve or ManU, other than that I think he’ll stay.
I wonder the same as well. … well he do a Rannocchia and stay and actually perform better after that. .. fact is if he had his head in a game he is way way better than most of the players we are trying to get. Remember 3-1 breaking unbeaten juBe at home anyone? Even in preseason our midfield looked a lot more potent when he came on (agreed it was only preseason)
Problem is though he does seem disinterested for some games and that gets us all frustrated coz we see his quality. I am worried if he joined a manu or juBe he will go on and become a star for them. .I rather if all parties agreed that continuing the partnership is in the best interest of everyone.
Just thinking of course. …….
BOTH GDS and SKY reporting? too good to be true!
