As earlier noted, Inter were considering signing Xherdan Shaqiri, Bayern Munich’s attacking winger, as a last minute reinforcement this summer. The plans were however stopped by the Germans’ reluctance towards selling the player, and the difficulties in selling Fredy Guarin. The Kosovo-born Swiss national was convinced to stay put and give everything for his current team. In spite of this Gianluca Di Marzio was interviewed in the studio of SkySport24 and voiced his opinion that Shaqiri’s positive relationship with manager Pep Guardiola could deteriorate as the season develops due to a lack of playing time, meaning that the path to the player could be open once again in the January transfer window. In Inter’s case, the situation with Guarin will have to be dealt with before any approach for Shaqiri could be realistic.

Getting rid of Guarin in January will be hard..
We r down to 3 argentinian nd one of them is leaving so that era is over bro
Would prefer Lavezzi over Shaqiri..older yes but Argentine and that means better relations in lockeroom and field
I think that Shaqiri is more versatile player and is gonna be world class soon, if he gets the playing time. I would go for him, but also the price has to be right!
We doesn’t even have too much Argentian left in the squad. . . .
Shaqiri miles better than Lavezzi, not to mention his ability to dribble from left (needed position) and powerful shots and strength, add to that younger, why should we consider Lavezzi??!!
