Thohir stated earlier today that “Juventus have their stadium, Roma are building one of their own. Ourselves, and Milan must make a decision.”, the decision that our president is waiting for is propably AC Milan moving to build their own modernized stadium that perfectly fit the new standards and of course getting double figures as a revenue… what’s irritating here is why are Milan so adamant on leaving the San Siro and building a new stadium? You would expect them to stay and us leave.
If you just googled San Siro name you will get that it was first owned by AC Milan, but was sold to the city of Milan in 1935, Wikipedia states that it’s AC Milan’s home as well as F.C. Internazionale Milano… even the FIFA Official Site says so, and that’s natural as Milan had been the sole occupant of San Siro, until 1945 when they were joined by Inter, it was the the project of former AC Milan president Piero Pirelli, then Milan owned/rented the San Siro for 19 years before Inter joined. This is not Inter’s true home.
Of course the history is great and it’s named now after our great legend… but it’s officially recognized as Milan’s home before us, the Only good thing in the San Siro is that the first ever game held at there was a friendly between Milan and Inter, which ended 3-6 to Inter, but all the place is AC Milan… Leaving for a new stadium is better for us… creating our history… Our own one, not sharing it with our rivals,

This article is simply just stupid. Seriously, what the fuck were you thinking?
Let me correct you, Guiseppe Meazza is our home and always will be, no matter how you look at it. Just the whole “San Siro” thing, while combining it with some fucking silly wikipedia info, how dear you mister? Time to wake up and reliaze that this (Guiseppe Meazza) is our DNA, our history and OUR home!
“it is not Inter´s real home” What a silly ass comment, if that was true we will never have one. You are amazingly ignorant and just plain dumb, really… Im sorry, but I just had to tell you..
That post gave me Ebola. Giuseppe Meazza is and has always been our home. Don’t know if it’s a better decision to move to a new stadium or keep this one. But no one should demean our history on Guiseppe Meazza just for the sake of proving a point that we should move. And saying the only good thing is the first 6-3 victory is amazingly ignorant and I’ll leave at that because I don’t want to write a 10 page essay on how wrong it is.
I don’t really know what the most feasible thing to do would be for Inter, but I’m quite sure Thohir has just that in mind. If staying at the Meazza isn’t a good option, it won’t happen. But you don’t just “build a new stadium” out of thin air, bear that in mind.
Was this news or was this random thoughts?
It was an attempt to start a meaningful discussion on the subject. Do contribute.
excuse me but i think thohir said that just to make us feel optimistic . if he really want to pay for anything he’d have paid to get at least 1 superstar
Rebuild San Siro… thats the best option..
if milan decided to move and build new stadium, we will stay and use the GM?
I’m quite lost here. so what is the benefit for us if we’re still using the GM?
if we’re still paying the city for using GM, how can we increase our?
inter can approach the gov for the purchase of the stadium for a nominal fee (to bring in tourists ) that might happen but it seems unlikely
Once milan move, inter can buy the GM from the city and modernize it. I like this option better just because this stadium is full of pages of our history.
