Nemanja Vidic close to a goodbye? It seems like it, at least according to Tuttosport:
“He was the big signing of the summer but now Nemanja Vidic has been off the radar for a month. The central defender played his last game November 9, Walter Mazzari’s final game at Inter (2-2 Verona). Since Mancini who was his derby rival at Manchester arrived at Inter the Serbian has been on the bench or in the stands. Now there seems to be a problem. Before the former United captain was criticized for his performances on the pitch, now the only voices surrounding him are the ones about a goodbye in January.”
During this time, Vidic has suffered an inflammation in the knee which has kept him from being at Mancini’s disposal. Yet there is talk about a goodbye being close:
“Mancini and Vidic’s agent deny the rumors, but the defender is not happy”, writes Tuttosport. “With Udinese and Chievo he was on the bench the whole 90 minutes, he didn’t go to the away game in Azerbaijan due to a.. stomach ache and now he waits to see what happens on Sunday versus Lazio. Should he be excluded from the starting eleven once again, and nobody understands why Mancini would change a winning team. Then it is very probable that Vidic will ask for a meeting with the coach after the Lazio game to see what to do. Because regardless of the rumors he really is thinking about what to do when the transfer window opens up.”

We haven’t reach any where of the season,so he will stay.He should keep on training
if he want to leave, let it be. but if he want to stay and fight for a spot, we should give him a chance in Copa or EL
Vidic does not deserve to start and earn over 3m per season. He must leave Inter! Bring Matija Nastasic to replace useless Vidic and Campagnaro.
just let him and his high wages leave – and let’s spend the savings on the guy from Shity, the “something-vic”-guy Mancio knoews and likes. He’s very young and I guess talented, while Vidic is over the hill.
Unbelievable that a master is sitting on the bench because of two jerks who are playing center-back pair.
The only fault was the lost ball against Palermo.
The red card and penalty that he would have caused is laughable …
There was no chance for him to play a three-man defense, with a jerk on each side.
Open your eyes everyone of Inter, he has not left yet … let him show what he can.
Let him help us to be a team again.
he sits on the bench because of what he has showed juring the week at training, and actuelly both JJ and even Ranno are improving game after game – so way play this oldie and risk losing JJ to another club?
You think he would play Vidic – Rano? That would be suicide. Strikers running backwards would still pass them..
He would because Ranno is our Captain so therefor… But true none of them have much speed in their feet, but still.
You are totally wrong. If you are not blind, Vidic was the main reason of conceding many goals along with Nagatomo. He is finished and he does not deserve to earn over 3m per season for conceding many goals. Admit it. We have to kick his ass ASAP!
He is way better than Ranochia.
He has to be tried before leaving that way…
All those who say he made mistakes, don’t know shit about football.
This player was one of the best CBs in the world playing 4 at the back.
He was not good playing 3 at the back but most goals came from midfield mistakes rather than Vidic’s…
The key word here being “was”. He was one of the best, in the current state, you are praising him only because of nostalgia. I am more than 100% that if Ranocchia/Andreolli/JJ or any of our defenders played like Vidič in current form, you would be typing “Sell him!!” already.
I said “This player was one of the best CBs”.
You have a point on what you r saying.
The fact is that we haven’t seen him in the new formation.
Believe me he ‘ll be great. If he won’t then i ‘ll admit it…
Ok?
Well Vidic current form is 8 times as good as Ranocchias form.. Ever.. And i am shouting SELL THIS PIECE OF CRAP at the tv every time i see Rano..
He is way better than Ranochia.

LOL, “the only fault”. He caused 2 or 3 penalties and made mistakes that led to about 3 or 4 goals. And a red card on top of that.
No changes in a wining team?!?! Come on, we won only one game against terrible Chievo, not 25 in a row.
Agreed, everyone is getting carried away…we are still 11th….even against Chievo we got lucky, Handanovic carries this team
someone must carry like messi, ronaldo, sancez,we have handan
someone must carry like messi, ronaldo, sancez,we have handan
yeah 11th, just 6 points away from 3rd place Lazio, and we’ll face against them next match at San Siro, so yeah
and when exactly was the last time inter beat a team that was above them in the Serie A standings at the time of facing them ? I believe it was samp via PK. better yet is the answer to this question: when exactly was the last time inter beat a team that was above them in the Serie A standings at the time of facing them by 2 or more goals ?
You can’t compare Mazzari’s Inter to Mancini’s. This team let a win slip by against Udinese and fielded their youngsters and reserves against Qarabag (sp?), which would’ve been an easily winnable game had we played our A team.
After 6 games, we are 2-2-2 under Mancini, we could have easily been 3-1-2 right now, or maybe even 4-1-1 had we not fucked up in the second half against Udine.
We can argue that Inter Inter-Udinese game……..i don’t consider it a fuck up, what i seen was Strama outsmarting Mancini. Secondly, that 2-2-2 score did not really come out of improved quality under Mancini, i mean he plays better soccer but it happened because Vidic was bench and automatically the results improved. Vidic = Bidone D’oro 2014
no it happened because the players were tired of mazzari’s system. inter already play with more fluidity and creativity. they hold the ball a lot better and with actual intent rather than just passing it around until finally running out of ideass and launching long balls forward as they did under WM.
and in no way did strama outsmart mancini, that was a mental shutdown by the team after udine drew level. udinese pressed more in the 2nd half but they were still getting beat until that good goal, which was also a great individual touch.
dont. answer. this. creature. rubentus fans doesn’t have a brain. it just wasting your breath argue with them
first off, it’s nice to actually read an objective reply not some biased emotional fan who sees what he wants to see and now what it is. the team loses faith in themselves too quickly…we seen it in many of the games such as the roma game – they could have tied it at 2-2 but that 3rd goal shattered their hopes. we seen it at Udinese also but the team is not built to play on 3 fronts. there’s alot of players that need to go and some players let go such as Schelotto could be useful to the team.
You’re one of the biggest Inter fans I’ve ever come across! You know so much about our team, players and games and I quite frankly agree with a lot of what you are pointing out – what Mazzari succeded in was to turn our players afraid of winning! He talked alot about how strong the apponnent was and when you hear that enough you start beliving it – beliving that you are nothing more than a mediocre team and player! Look at Mourinho he is brilliant in making the players he has, belive that they are the best in the world and then they start preforming like that!
Mancio has a more positive attitude and wants to make the players remember why a huge club like Inter brought then, and that “we are Inter!” – which is something he says again and again in interviews!
let me ask you 1 question…..when was the last time Inter beat a team that was above them in the Serie A Standings by 2 or more goals ??? was it last season? Mancini is what 2-2-2 this season…..this team is weak…..it’s in 11th place for a reason – they worked hard for that spot !!
I know – and my point was also that the mentality of the players has been fucked with by Mazzarri – as I said he focused constantly on the opponent and “talked up” the opponent instead of “talking your own team up”, like Mou, Mancio and many others do!
A win against Lazio will bring us back right in it! Of cause we face Juve the 6.of January I think it is, but then we face Genoa which is up there too – so we still have all the chances in the world to make 4.th or maybe 3th!
I agree we shouldn’t get carried away. But in no way shape or form did we get lucky against Chievo, we dominated them start to finish.
