Speaking to the microphones of SkySport at the Christmas party of the youth sector, Inter Director General Marco Fassone talked about the situation regarding the stadium.
”I have to say that there have been many stories regarding the stadium but the truth is we are still behind. We are in the process of evaluating and we await the decision of Milan. The stadium is in our plans, but we do not know whether it will be a totally new facility or a modernized Meazza. It remains in our priorities though.”

Its remind me on Highburry and Emirates story. Well, I still really hope that Inter can modernize Meazza, by make it closer to the audience. I went to Meazza once last year. We won 1-0 in derby Della Madoninna by Palacio goal. For Inter fans who support the team for a long time, still Meazza is a place that can’t make u stop to smile. Like what I did.

I can understand them weighing up the options but it’s got to be a new stadium for me. They’ve never been be able to sort out the terrible pitch condition (not sure if it’s true, but apparently it’s been like it since the third tear was built??). And a lot of the times I’ve been, the view was obstructed by something (rail/post/pillar). I like the idea of the crowd being closer to the pitch too. I went to the emirates once to watch Inter in the Emirates cup and it seemed like there wasn’t a bad seat in the house…….
I love the modernizing Meazza idea, Our many nice and horrible dream lies there, We belong to Meazza and that’s my lovely stadium

this is a great question, we have to buy it firs or get a deal with the city that if we modenize it, we don’t have to pay the rent for the next 15-20 years, maybe even more
I hope it will be a totally new facility for us in this matter.
