Juve and Inter’s rivalry does not stay sul campo.
Tuttosport reports that Juventus are now after Inter’s long-term target Ezequiel Lavezzi. After the Nerazzurri ratcheted up pressure to acquire Xherdan Shaqiri, the Turin club are after players linked with Inter. Sneijder is a real target for Allegri, and he would suit the coach’s current system. Lavezzi is more feasible financially than Bayern’s Swiss winger as well. Paris would like close to €15 million for the Argentine, but with his contract ending in 2016, the number could drop lower. He will most likely leave France in January either way. And although De Laurentiis denies the rumors, Napoli are said to be following their former player as well.

Author’s note: Although I would detest seeing Pocho play for the gobbi…if we somehow got Shaqiri, I really would not mind.
How does this report make you feel? Do you think it’s all mind games before the game in Turin, or is there more behind it?

Get Shaqiri !
Get Shaqiri !
This tuttosport at its worst….nobody wants lavezzi! Inters offer for shaqiri is worse than juventus offer for him so unless some team buys him in full he’s not coming to italy
As long as we get either one of Lavezzi/Shaqiri, we’re good. We’d be fucked if we stay without both. But then, there’s always Salah…
At least we’re going for the high targets and this time we seem serious. Thank you Mancio for bringing some senses!
more than agree bro.
i’d be happy for juve to take sneijder and lavezzi if we get shaqiri and salah tbh. We had Sneijder’s best year and lavezzi is fading while shaqiri is growing. Also seeing juve have tevez/morata/sneijder/lavezzi/pirlo/pogba/vidal in the side and still flop in the ucl would be hilarious
Have you seen Bayer munichs squad? Real Madrid? If juve gets to the quarterfinals we reached our objective. Hilarious would be to see inter lose once again to Parma or cagliari!!!
With both at roughly the same price (give or take 1-2 million) Shaqiri is the better option given his lower age and better future value when it comes time to sell
I agree, though Lavezzi has his upsides too, having played in Serie A before.
I prefer Shaqiri too, though, I think he’ll build a formidable partnership with Kovacic and Icardi and would be a nice addition to this core of young players we’re building.
