With the end of the January transfer window, with so many ups and downs, so many emotions going through the Nerazzurri faithful everywhere in what seemed to be one of the best windows in the last five years, here we’re going to take a look at the new signings:
Lukas Podolski:
Poldi joined Inter on a six month loan for €600,000 that might get up to €1M in case of Champions League promotion with no option to buy at the end of season, which means he is returning to Arsenal at the end of this season.
He is an excellent striker, with a very strong and determined left foot, but one is afraid that he is past his prime as he has stayed for a very long time without playng, he didn’t impress in the few game he played for the Nerazzurri, looked like a lost kid on the wing, didn’t see his shots till now.
SempreInter Score: 6/10
Xherdan Shaqiri:
Shaqiri joined Inter on a six months loan for €2M with obligation to buy at end of season set at €13M.
He is a young talented hot prospect, he is high valued, class and speedy, creative passer and with lots of ambitions, I would consider him the best signing Inter have done since Sneijder’s transfer in 2009.
SempreInter Score: 8/10
Marcelo Brozovic:
Brozovic joined Inter on an 18 month loan for €3M with obligation to buy at end of next season for €5M.
He is a talented midfielder, this guy who plays along Rakitic, Kovacic and Modric in the Croatian national team is a stone in midfield with lots of creative passes, waiting to see more of him in the black and blue shirt.
SempreInter Score: 6/10
Davide Santon:
Santon joined Inter on a six months loan for free with an option to buy at the end of season for €3.7M, that becomes obligatory if he started ten games for the nerazzurri in any competition.
Well, this name is familliar to the Inter fans, part of the winning treble team in 2010, was promising then but it’s been a long time since he played an official match for New Castle, with only 59 minutes played this season one can’t judge him well, he was good and we are optimistic about him.
SempreInter Score: 6/10
Oliveira, Correia & Kehrer:
Promising Primavera players but can’t say much about them now, we wait and see.
SempreInter Score: N/A

I think inter is good squad now.. this problem is: mental, fight battle,brave.. inter’s player now is very weak…. be strong inter….

I’d give santon a 6 based on our fantasies, realistically he is more of a 4…. But that doesnt mean i’m not optimistic, as an inter fan; optimisim is a must!
Should we go for Marco Motta (right back 28 years old, just relised on a free today by Juve)? A fine(and cheap) back up to D’Ambros maybe on the right?

Forgot Santon and according to transfermarkt, the deal for Murillo is already done, arriving for 8 million € in the summer.
Santon added now. Also I think that Brozovič deserves a rating of 7, he is a great prospect, best player with Kramarič in the croatian league, plays for national team and if he will succeed in Inter that price is rather reasonable considering how much they wanted for Susic.
I like Poldi’s debut against Juve – he seemed so determened to help Kova out in holding possession and creating our gameplay, but lately he has disapered on the pitch.. Luckily we don’t have to buy him in the summer (if he continues to preform like this)…
Santon is a great signing I think – just what we needed for left back! Now we can try a sell Dodo, Naga and let Johnny leave in the summer too because we have D’ambrosio in his poss!
I think Dodo should stay he is a really good attacker and very skillful but we just have to play him as a left midfielder or a left winger so that he can flourish, hopefully Santon can teach our winger how to cross
I don’t think selling dodo is a good idea . I think he is a decent player . In my opinion he would play better as a winger ! He can’t defend at all but he surely can attack from the wings and make good passes from near corner position
SANTON???
