Sandro Mazzola, Inter’s legendary striker has spoken to Sussidiario about Mancini and the new Inter signings
“Tomorrow is a game where Inter hope that it will confirm the improvements seen against Napoli, a match which was not played badly even if lost, the Nerazzurri, however, will face a Palermo side which is playing excellent football and is really a good team, we say that, beyond the result, the better the victory of course, it will be important even in the event of a tie that Inter will show good performance.”
“I think Inter did not purchase phenomenal players, just think about Shaqiri, Bayern Munich bought before selling, and the Swiss was hardly a candidate to start.”
“Mancini is trying to build a team, to give personality to Inter, a winning mentality that is missing in this team.”

we didn’t sign phenomenal players, but we did phenomenal transfers…come on, shaqiri, poldi, even santon? damn, if they’re a team player, and have bright future, crisetig, donati, even balo will come maybe?? from me, a fans of our academy…:D
Mazzola is drunk XD
He is right, as always.
Mazzola is right! Our players are not more than medicore! #NOTMORETOSAY
There are very good players on this team (Handanovic, Kovacic, Icardi, Shaqiri, Podolski, even JJ and Medel are all good enough for Serie A), and if Mazzola considers the likes of Ronaldo/Messi/Ribery/Robben as phenomenal, it’s plainly obvious that their kind cannot be bought.
“Shaqiri couldn’t start at Bayern”. Not a soul in Italy except Pogba could right now.
It’s ludicrous to criticize the purchase of Shaqiri.
Mazzola was a great striker no doubt, but he always shouts up about stupid ass things – we are broke and the big FFP is hanging over our heads whaching us, but still we managed to get 3 fairly young guys in (Broz, Shaq – where we beat clubs from PL BTW) and Santon! That’s really good business if you ask me and maybe Mazzolo shoud wake up and smell the 2015!!
It’s true that this team still needs a lot of work, but this was a market the likes of which we haven’t had in a while. The frustrating thing is that with the lack of results, practically all of the good work could be undone as we will end up losing great players like Icardi and Handanovic and have to start over from scratch next summer.
As for Brozovic, I’m also very happy we got him, especially considering the competition, but I’ll wait and see how he fits in before evaluating him 🙂
