With his 13 league goals Mauro Icardi stood in the top 10 goal scorers in the top five European leagues, led by Cristiano Ronaldo with 28 goals who is ahead of Lionel Messi, still only at 23 goals, and the Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette with 21, and the list continues till we reach Icardi at the 10th spot with 13 goals.
Of all the top ten on the list, the Inter striker is the youngest of the lot, with its 21 years.

I really dont want to lose him…..but if he keeps this pace up and we can get a good chunk of money for him, imagine the handful of quality players or even 1-3 starting caliber players we can sign with the profit. That’ll be a tough job for the front office when the offseason comes.

That chart says a lot about La Liga….I mean CR & Messi are fantastic, but their stats are like they play in the NHL

I think if we could get rid of Palacio maybe, we could cover Gignac’s wage since he could arrive on free transfer, would be great if Mancini continues to play 4-3-1-2 with Icardi and Gignac in the front. If we are to sell Icardi though, I agree with the other options.
I think the key in not conceding is scoring ! I mean look at the torino and napoli match ! We didn’t score when we could and we got punished ! So i think the best formation for us is 4-1-3-2 with one dcm two wingers and an amf plus two deadly strikers !

If we apply a bad/few cross factor (kind of like the wind chill factor when you estimate the ambient temperature), that 13 goals can become 15-20. I mean, imagine how many goals he would score in a team that would consistently feed him good balls.
