I know Rano genuinely scared me today. Even when everything was going well, he was drifting out of position and diving into tackles. At this point he would be my last choice cb, behind Andreolli, Vidic, and Campagnaro even.
Yeah,he isn’t really what comes to mind when i think of a solid defender.His mistakes always cost us but slowly i see less mistakes.To be honest in that game vs Atalanta the only mistake he made was the one for the goal.But he really has my heart in my mouth for all the games I hold my breath when he’s on the ball because he’s anything but composed but hopefully mancini can iron things out like with guarin,the difference is you need potential to improve guarin has always shown glimpses but rano…I see an average player at best but that’s just me

Yeah, I think so 2. I like how he protects Shaquiri from the Atalanta players without actually getting caught up in the conflict. Definitely what a captain would do.
Even in that ugly confrontation with icardi and osvaldo he was the one to push them apart.I honestly have no problem with him being captain but I must see consistency before that happens
