The first interview that Walter Mazzarri has given after being sacked by Inter was as expected if seen from his point of view. The former Inter coach said: “I did not deserve to be sacked. There are too many prejudices about me.”
TuttoMercatoWeb.com spoke to former Inter player Fulvio Collovati about it. He agreed with Mazzarri in some ways.
“I feel like he is not completely wrong. I think that the handling of Mazzarri at and Inter the fact that he was chosen by a president who then left the club did not favor him. The unclear situation in the club played its part but it is also obvious that you could expect more from both him and his team. I think that the Thohir management didn’t put him in the best conditions to do express himself. That situation has been diametrically overturned with the arrival of Mancini. Now Inter has a well defined structure with the possibilities to invest on the transfer market bringing in quality players like Podolski and Shaqiri to the squad.”

the way the team is playing right now is a prove that sacking mazzarri was the right decision in addition to not playing zanetti in the last derby of his career shouldn’t pass without punishment
Piss take u kn the drill were inter, that means success not failure.
We should not forget that he led us to 5th place in his first season. An improvement over the 9th when Stramaccioni was in charge. It was that 3 man backline which took us there. But, I’ll never forgive him for the way he treated the seniors.
He was kinda okay compared to coaches after mou. But after 1-4 defeat against cagliari at home he just lost it.
Mazzari certainly isn’t the coach to bring inter back… we want a team that can compete for first place, not settle for 3rd and I think with the right changes mancini can do it (keep in mind mancini brought shaq and brozo and santon… and now he will help bring in murrilo and yaya toure)
He (RM) already said that its a pity we are competing for third place. Next season we want to aim for the scudetto. Thats the spirit that we need. If only he gets rid of Rano.
Yeah and he said we should compete in the begining of this year…
The biggest problem is not Ranocchia! It is that Inter have two starting CB that can’t lead the back line! Ranocchia was really good when he played with Samuel! And an other problem is that Inter doesn’t have any leader in the central defense at all! Most of you guys think Vidic is a leader but the truth is he wasn’t the boss in Man U it was Ferdinand! And to get a leader to the defense we maight have to sell Ranocchia because he is older then Jesus and Jesus can be much better then what he is now!
That’s exactly the problem of Ranocchia. He’s playing good only when he had another player who led him. Technicality, he’s one of the best defender around in Italy. But mentality, he’s not on the same level with Cordoba/Materazzi, let alone Samuel/Lucio.
Go away sir lol
He had his chance and was giving more time than Gasp and Strama but nothing came out of it. His sacking was the best decision Thohir made.
