Inter’s coach Roberto Mancini wasn’t too happy about his team’s performance in todays 1-1 draw against Cesena. “In the first half we were fatigued and Cesena realized that they could get us in trouble and run all over us. We didn’t play smart and we weren’t aggressive.” In the second half we scored a goal straight away and after that we rushed to get another goal which sometimes doesn’t make things easier. but I don’t think it was a good game. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that half of our goals has been scored when we are down [on the result table]. The players wants to do more when things aren’t going well for the team. The team is improving but unfortunately improving slowly. I’m sorry for the fans who are suffering as much as we are.
We had a lot of chances but we weren’t able to score on them, we have to do better. When you don’t get the result you want in games like this you always leave with a bitter taste in your mouth. But congratulations to Di Carlo and Cesena.
Objectives? It’s hard to talk about the third place, there are too many teams in front of us, had we won then it would’ve been a different story but talking about it now would not be logical. Wolfsburg? Wolfsburg is a strong team and without making the mistakes we made I think the game could’ve ended in a draw.

Oh please, Mancini, I love you but third place is lost when we lost against Torino 0-1 and lost 2 points against Empoli 0-0. Now when I see Torino in EL I must say Torino is very respected squad but still w elost third place when we had too many draws.

Football game is always your “tactics & players” vs your opponent “tactics & players”, as simple as that, nothing more or less.
Your tactics depends on your players availability, all started from clear Idea, but sometimes you’ll found your players can’t fit to your tactic and you don’t have other options to stick with it, so you need to change it because it’s impossible to only have 1 tactic without back up plan. Sometimes your tactic can’t work because your opponent tactic prevent it, all the thing you need to do is change it and so on.
Then sometimes “the x factor” appear, like your players don’t work according to your instruction (by the force of the opponent) and there’s also costly errors or blunders that lead to conceding goals, red carded, your opponent play amazingly spectacular. That’s called “shit happen”, no matter what you do, you just can’t win it, at this situation, you’re the unluckiest man and you don’t need feel sad about it because fans will always understand.
My experiences taught me that picking the best XI will determine the result of the game, but i also have experiences with disadvantages on players but perfect tactics win me the game.
Mancio, all you need to do is work on tactics and players because the answer of all this shameful performances lied there.

Mancio always can’t be a good coach without a superior player. Maybe bring back Strama or try Bielsa can be a solution. However, Mancio only good to be a sporting director, just like leonardo to bring a star player.

This team doesnt improve. Its not a improvement from the 13th place to the 9 place. And the playstyle has been changed but not improved. This team is weak on so many spots we never will improve with this eleven players . I love inter inter is in my heart but just being realistic.
