Marco Andreolli stopped to speak to Mediaset Premium after the draw.
“We threw the first half away in a game where the only thing that mattered was a victory. In the second half the whole team entered the pitch with the right spirit, we found the equalizer and had other opportunities to score. Unfortunately we did not get the win that would see us hanging on to the cup spots.”
When talking about Europe the subject turns to the upcoming game against Wolfsburg.
“Against Wolfsburg the team needs to enter the game with a different approach. We need to pull out the pride, anger and determination and play a great game. It will not be easy but we need to try and turn this around. Do we feel the pressure? When the results don’t come there is always a bit of pressure, but I repeat on Thursday we need a great game. We need to do everything to go through in the Europa League.”

Inter just need to step up their game from the very first minutes. While I don’t hold any hope they could beat Wolfburg in the return leg moreover to qualify, but at least Inter could bow out with pride having to fight the coming match with grit, determination and guts. We want Inter to give Wolfsburg a message that they can beat us at their home, but they cannot do the same at the San Siro. Forza Inter!
No duh,Sherlock. We cannot beat Wolfsburg without scoring like 4 goals because that defence is just waiting to leak goals it’s ridiculous. What all us interista learnt from the last month or so is 1.Too good to be true as guarin of old is back, just when you think he has a bit of continuity and form 2. Kovacic is growing increasingly unhappy at the club..i could see by his body language today that all really isn’t well…feels like deja vu and am sure coutinho would agree 3. JJ is going braindead at the side of rano 4. Mancini’s decisions have left alot to be desired in recent times(Carrizo starting in a must win game against cup contenders, strange subs at strange times even no subs at all even when we are in dire need of them considering the immense quality on our bench in midfield particularly)Is he the right person for the job? I mean is it only me wondering where we would be in the table right now with WM? Surely higher than this? 5.Our European hopes are more or less extinguished with faint hope remaining if we can overturn a 2-0 deficit while fighting off inevitable away goals to a side in dangerous form when we can’t even overcome a tired side in a relegation scrap 6. We are far from contending for the title next year unless there is a large overhall of the squad and with uefa on our shoulders it seems unlikely that we can get much done without running into trouble,a fight for 3rd spot next season is on the cards but easier said than done, ask mancini he would know as he’s been doing alot of talking this season but inter fans have seen next to nothing materialize.Life of an inter fan these days hard, painful, frustrating but it makes victory even sweeter. #forzainter!!
