A beaming Sinisa Mihajlovic presented himself in the mixed zone after the win against Inter. A win that saw his Sampdoria take fourth place in the league.
“I don’t know if the Samp we saw tonight was my best one, but surely we faced the best Inter of the season. We were a bit lucky but this is the fourth straight win and it outs us up in fourth place. I think we deserve to be there, I understand that the fans are enthusiastic but we need to keep our feet on the ground. I have not spoken to Mancini. Maybe one day we will take a team where he is the director and I am the coach,” he says with a laugh.
“Milan? I have heard the rumors, but there are new ones every week. That is just talk, I am sorry for my friend Inzaghi who is always in the middle of some rumors. I am focused on my team only and I do not think about the future. The strength of this team is the spirit, the atmosphere, everyone work for each other. Whether they are starters or if the come on from the bench. We need to continue like this, we train well but we need to stay humble.”

Finally a coach that tells the truth unlike some of the coaches that praises the team like they are Barcelona and they won on skill and stuff. It was a beautiful goal, no doubt, but they were lucky to get away with a clean sheet.
