After hopping around clubs in Italy and Europe, Daniel Bessa has finally proved his quality with Bologna this season. The Inter-owned youngster has not had it easy though. Bessa won the Next Generation Series with Andrea Stramaccioni in 2012 and has been tipped to become a talented professional player. In January 2013, Bessa moved to Serie B side Vicenza on loan. Things did not work out so well for the midfielder as he only made 3 appearances. Bessa departed on his next journey in the summer of the same year when he joined Olhanese. The youngster only made 1 appearance for the Portuguese side and promptly returned to Inter the coming winter. Bessa was soon loaned out to Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam in the winter of 2014. The Italian endured a difficult spell in the Netherlands in which he only made 7 appearances. It seemed destined that Bessa would have another difficult spell at Bologna when he joined the Serie B side in August 2014.
Bessa has been a revelation since joining Bologna. The former Inter Primavera player has been having a great season so far and could return to Inter this summer. FcInternews.it reports that Bessa, whose contract with Inter expires in 2016, will return to Inter at the end of the season. Bessa certainly has an exciting future ahead of him. A good news in these bad days
BESSA .. Finally .. Come home bro… My favourite Primavera player to return . Great news.
Can we have an explanation on this ‘great season’? How many games did he play and how many asists and goals he has?
1 goal in 13 (9 as a sub) apps according to WhoScored. Quite pathetic in my opinion. We need players who can make the difference not kids.
Yeah I saw that too, I was hoping that someone has more detail information.
He is not a kid anymore but I doubt that he can help Inter.
He has 22 appearances, 13 starts and 9 as a sub. Not saying he’ll be a starter but hopefully he can be a better sub than Kuz when we need a goal
Bessa was perhaps the most hyped of the Next Gen team. A great attacking midfielder with vision, touch and skill. Injuries and a confidence crisis have hampered him but it is good to see him getting better. If Inter manage him right he could definitely come through in the future. Good luck to him!
I say keep him loaned out to bologna for another year
One year loan to Bologna and one more year in la liga.. If you remember how much continho had benefited from his loan spell at espanyol. Inter should loan their youngsters outside serie a to gain different perspective from better leagues (e.g premier league and la liga).
Mancini will never play him anyway.
Mancio has had a good relationship with young players throughout his career… Just remember Balo.
I still remember when he gave that “no look” assist to longo.. You can see it properly around 24-26 seconds of this video

I believe in both of these guys.
Finally going to see the integration of our Primavera product in the squad :’)
Hope so bro.
