The Sky Sport studio with Andrea Paventi tries to predict how Inter will conduct the summer mercato, starting with the Inter sales list. On that list you find Handanovic, Hernanes, Kovacic, Juan Jesus or Andrea Ranocchia (only one will go) and Icardi (but according to the studio less likely). Those are the players that Ausilio could sell in summer according to Sky.
They then go to the possible arrivals to Inter in summer; Perin, Cech or Reina for goal, Vida, Toulalan, Touré, Ayew and Jovetic for midfield and attack. Yaya Touré is the first name on the list for Mancini, but that would be a very costly deal. Toulalan looks difficult since Monaco now have offered him a contract extension. Since Dybala is a sought after name which could lead to a bidding war then maybe it is better to go for a player like Jovetic to play next to Icardi. Jovetic seems almost forgotten and could want a return to Italy and he is versatile enough to play as a striker or on the wing. The revolution idea (cleaning out the squad) needs to stay within the boundaries for the club though.

I would have offered Konoplyanka a big contract if we really want quality wingers. I mean a player of his calibre can easily cost 18m and NOW is the chance to get him for FREE! Even if you break the salary cap for him, it’s worth of trying – I saw that cold blooded killer instinct in him, just like in Icardi. I’m sure his strong mentality will enable him to succeed anywhere he wants [and unfortunately I think he wants the BPL]. Roma tried to sign him in winter but failed.
Ayew is also a great opportunity – he has champion blood in him, just like his father and is also available for FREE – but clubs from the Premier League [can’t say English clubs] also know this and they can offer a bigger wage…
Jovetic would be a better option than Pato to partner Icardi. I think the trio of Jovetic-Icardi-Shaqiri would be really dangerous!! So if we can get a loan deal + option to buy, we are set. Both Jovetic and Pato have a history of injuries but that’s why we can afford them. Fingers crossed the players we sign will avoid injury problems.
Keep Icardi and Kovacic, sell Handanovic for a profit (Perin would probably come). I would also keep Hernanes as he has still yet to deliver and we would lose a lot on his sale now. I really believe in him.

Bullshits! To sell Hernanes and Kovacic, but to keep Guarin is a suicide! Where’s the piont to sell Juan, but to keep Ranocchia? Where’s Nagatomo, Dodo, Vidic, Kuzmanovic, Obi, Botta, Taider, etc. names? Who can think that we can grow up and achieve something with names like Reina, Vida, Toulalan? In reference to Jovetic, Firmino it’s not more expensive, but he’s not injury prone, he’s younger and is a leader of his team, not bench warmer. But I’m not sure that we can convince him to choose our project, instead of other big teams who’s interested.

One thing that INTER need to carefully analyze is the incoming player’s mentality and character. We need strong players with leader qualities. That’s why we have a record of signing captains, because it’s a good hint of this. I can only hope Murillo and the others will have a winning mentality! I miss Materazzi.
