Inter defender Santon spoke to the microphones while attending an event held by the Inter Academy and talked about his return to the Nerazzurri. He said: “After four years at Newcastle it is an honour to be back at Inter. I’m glad to be here and I hope to stay for a long time. I have had difficulty in the past but that is football. The experience in the Premier League has helped me grow. They live football differently. But now I am happy to be back home.”

I hope he just has luck with injuries cause his skills are unquestionable, he dribbles and does awesome crosses with a bit of improving in his defensive and physical condition he would be a masterpiece.
I wish we never sold him, now he would be the captain not Ranochia -_- Cause no matter what i think the captain armband should go only to those who get raised in Inter and love Inter just like we fans do, just like Zanetti did. And he has some spirit of a leader too.

I still think he can grow even better! This guy is awesome.
Convinient player. I am hoping he will stay like this or be better as time goes by. But nothing is certain with Inters players (fullbacks) in recent history. Look at Nagatomo. Use to be solid and reliable player, and nowadays is injury and mistake prone.
I feel davide will have a solid season come august because he and danillo can change our flank game..
