Gianluca Di Marzio has been speaking on Sky Sports about Mauro Icardi’s contract renewal details and bonuses.
Here is what Di Marzio had to say:
“The Argentine will earn about 16M Euro for four seasons. The first year his salary will amount to 3.8M while in the following years he will have an average of 3.5M.”
“In addition the salary would increase by 10% in the case of qualification to the Champions League and could be rounded off by another major bonus should he win the top scorer award again.”

there is no buy-out clause, thats the good thing.. so inter can value him how high they want when its time to sell him for big money
Well he deserves it, to be top scorer with this lackluster squad speaks for itself, but I will not deny that we have seen Icardi lacking spirit many times – maybe it’s a side effect to the teams form in general
He does deserve it. Can’t say the same about Guarin tho, who earns as much even though he plays in 1/3 of the matches.
Guarin either goes or warms the bench… can’t handle him starting
it’d be a luxury to have him on the bench for that salary… either sell him or have someone fix him mentally so he could perform consistently in the starting 11
